Intake Manifold Bolts need to change to new ones once taken out from Engine..High Heat for many Years can weaken them..making them Brittle..

Yes I learnt the hard way.. Now I have ordered new bolts but need to extract the broken bolt first.

Is there such a thing as 1/2" torque wrench for torque specs under 30Nm?

Use an adaptor.

I have all the step down, step up combinations.

But too many adaptors, then the Torque at the nut will no longer be correct.

Have you come across cheap spark plug sockets that crack when used to tighten the plug even though the maker claim the material is CRV ( durable, heat treated, chrome vanadium steel)
