Imo Indonesian president did a good by trying to talk to Putin and moving towards ending the war. It might not be a wasted trip afterall. This should be the way forward. Not escalate it further. The West and its allies are also responsible for provoking Russia by expanding nato membership over the years. This is not an overnight thing that escalated into war.

MOSCOW: Indonesian President Joko Widodo said in Moscow on Thursday (Jun 30) he delivered a message from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

"I conveyed President Zelenskyy's message to President Putin," Widodo said after talks with the Kremlin chief in comments translated into Russian.

Widodo said he expressed his "readiness" to help start "communication" between the two leaders.

nato doesnt "expand"... countries beg to join it in desperation for fear of invasion, its their right to join if they want.  same as people are shot escaping the iron curtain, no one in nato forced them to.. its the right of the citizens too for wanting to escape.

russia expands by literally invading chechnya, georgia, ukraine, poland, etc. the bully accueses the victims of bullying.

 

back in the day some werent happy when singapore joined 5 power defence agreement too.

Ukrainian forces claimed that it annihilated a column of Russian Uragan self-propelled multiple rocket launcher systems in the Donetsk region, in eastern Ukraine.

Ukrainian Special Operations Forces shared Saturday aerial footage showing Russian military’s Uragan multiple rocket launchers and military vehicles spewing flames and thick, black smoke after they were hit by Ukrainian artillery strikes.

“Scouts of Ukraine’s SOF [Special Operations Forces] in the Donetsk region revealed an enemy column, which numbered 6 Uragan rocket launchers, transporter-loader vehicles, fuel trucks, trucks, fire control vehicles, armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles,” the Ukrainian military said.

“Soldiers of the SOF aimed the fire of Ukrainian guns while they smashed enemy vehicles to pieces,” the message added.

The BM-27 Uragan is a 220mm MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) designed and manufactured by the Russian defense industry.

The Uragan is designed to engage any type of group targets, soft-skinned and armored vehicles, and military and industrial defense facilities. The system can be used in conditions of enemy’s application of the nuclear, chemical, or bacteriological weapon at any time, during night and day in various climatic conditions at air temperatures from -40° to +50°.

Only semi-self loading, as the crew still needs to remove the ammo from the racks and place it into a cradle. I would consider it a self loading system if it required no human intervention to load and fire.

I've heard from friend inside that Singapore's own 155m towed gun had lost in foreign sales competition to others who had more automation. 

Also notice the ultra light pegasus 155 now never appear liao.

Towed guns are too slow to deploy and scoot, very hard to survive the modern battlefield.  They should all be sent to the museum.

Typical of the French, with very revolutionary design features and high degree of automation. Think about Airbus, always the first to pioneer new design. But how reliable is this kind of complex machinery in the field?
