China will likely IMO step up significant support (all areas) for Russia given that USA Pelosi take the chance to poke them hard hard.

Think very difficult in future for Ukraine to maintain.

Russian soldiers very scared of HIMARS. It comes every night while they are sleeping. No one knows if he will wake up in the morning. 😃

So apparently, they rather blow up their own ammo first (inadvertently or intentionally ?), before it comes. [laugh]

Russia Blows Up Its Ammunition While Trying to Hide From HIMARS

Russian soldiers reportedly blew up their own ammunition while unloading train cars under the cover of a smoke screen meant to hide the process from view and protect them from HIMARS attacks, according to Ukrainian intelligence.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine's Defense Ministry said in a new report Tuesday that the explosion took place on Monday. A train with military equipment and ammunition for Russian forces arrived at the Kalanchak station in Ukraine's Kherson region on Sunday, and the personnel began unloading the next morning, the report said. An explosion was reportedly heard in the work area at about 11:20 a.m. local time.

Immediately after the explosion, the convoy of train cars began moving in the direction of Crimea "without any warning," and Russia's personnel "scattered in panic," according to the report. While the intelligence agency said that it was not possible to determine the nature of the explosion, it presumed that it was due to "careless" handling of the ammunition or a fire "that arose as a result of inept use of pyrotechnics during the creation of a smoke screen."

The HIMARS, an acronym for M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, that Ukraine said Russia was trying to hide from using the smoke screen have been praised by U.S. and Ukrainian officials for their effectiveness in the counteroffensive. The Biden administration announced Monday that it was sending more HIMARS ammunition to Ukraine as part of a new $550 million security assistance package.

Georgia, Kazakhstan, you're next !

You don't exist, according to Medvedev.

https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/08/2/7361463/

Medvedev stated that until 1801 "such a country as Georgia did not exist", but appeared only within the borders of the Russian Empire, therefore "North and South Ossetia, Abkhazia and the remaining territories of Georgia can be united "only as part of a single state with Russia".

The deputy head of the Security Council of Russia also mentioned Kazakhstan, calling it an "artificial state" and accusing it of genocide against Russians.

Zelensky seeking 'direct talks' with China's Xi to help end Ukraine war

Ukraine is seeking an opportunity to speak "directly" with Chinese leader Xi Jinping to help end its war with Russia, President Volodymyr Zelensky said, the South China Morning Post reported on Thursday (Aug 4). In an interview with SCMP, the Ukrainian leader urged China to use its outsized political and economic influence over Russia to bring an end to the fighting.

"It's a very powerful state. It's a powerful economy… So (it) can politically, economically influence Russia. And China is (also a) permanent member of the UN Security Council," the report quoted Mr Zelensky as saying.

I suspect the Russian soldiers set off the explosion themselves and blame it on HIMARS so that they have excuse not to fight.

It was also speculated that a lot of those mysterious fires in Russia wasnt because of super Ukrainian secret agents.

Rather,  corrupt officials are burning evidence as questions are being asked why Russian army performed so badly.

You can't have a better friend than USA. Ukraine must be extremely grateful as they are fighting for their lives.

Exclusive: U.S. readies new $1 billion Ukraine weapons package

WASHINGTON, Aug 5 (Reuters) - The Biden administration's next security assistance package for Ukraine is expected to be $1 billion, one of the largest so far, and include munitions for long-range weapons and armored medical transport vehicles, three sources briefed on the matter told Reuters on Friday.

The package is expected to be announced as early as Monday and would add to about $8.8 billion in aid the United States has given Ukraine since Russia's invasion on Feb. 24.

The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said that President Joe Biden had not yet signed the next weapons package. They cautioned that weapons packages can change in value and content before they are signed.

However, if signed in its current form, it would be valued at $1 billion and include munitions for HIMARS, NASAMS surface-to-air missile system ammunition and as many as 50 M113 armored medical transports.

The new package follows a recent Pentagon decision to allow Ukrainians to receive medical treatment at a U.S. military hospital in Germany near Ramstein air base.

Last Monday, the Pentagon announced a separate security assistance package for Ukraine valued at up to $550 million, including additional ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS).

This must be the cheapest war for US.... No need to pay for manpower.
