Lyman has been liberated and Russian forces are withdrawing

Russian withdrawal is to prevent being encircled, and maybe a gesture of goodwill.  [laugh]

Ukraine version is Russian forces either body bagged or capture, not much of a withdrawal.

After this withdrawal I think it would be harder for Ukraine to advance. The terrain etc.

It will be a long hard war.

Hopefully they can take down kherson on the southern front and keep the Russians honest along the black sea or Crimea region.

It is not ez to take Kherson.

Ukrainian is encircling it as well as cutting off supply,

Tightening the net bit by bit till Russian run road

I just called to say goodbye

From the call, seems like no order to withdraw.  They seems to be just waiting for the Ukraine to finish them off.  When MOD (russia) announced their withdrawal is completed, it means those stuck there are left to die.

those that are "withdrawn" from Lyman, may be redeployed to Kherson.

This isn't Russian soldiers mistreating Ukrainians civilians

Incredibly... it's Russian civilians pushing food to conscripted Russians ... wtf... how to fight like that.

There was a video showing one woman instructor telling them to bring their own first aid kit to war as it is not provided. She reocmmended tampon btw 😅. From this video, now it seems the concripts also have to bring their own food.

Saw a medic respond to that video.

Apparently for gunshot wounds, because there's a big cavity behind the entry hole,  suppose to stuff dressing INTO the hole until it's full, then apply a dressing on top.

All the while I also tot just put dressing on top of the hole only 😬

Russia abandons Ukrainian bastion of Lyman, Putin ally suggests nuclear response

Even Putin ally KPKB.

From Lyman to Donetsk/Luhansk is 160km.

Personally... I don't think there's a choice to give in to putin.  Chamberlain desperately wanted peace with Hitler, appeasement... or naivety... didn't work.

If he gets Ukraine,  in 10 years,  his  successor with a rebuilt army will be gunning for more in a even stronger position. That's not even considering China waiting to see if it can follow.

Never works. Only winners in war are defence companies. The more China does funny stuff. The more Japan and Korea are going to arm themselves. The Phillipines and Vietnam probably wish they can but their budgets are much tighter.

Just a regional war like Ukraine is apparently taxing manufacturing limits for artillery shells and those himar rockets. One month of usage is equivalent to one years production in peacetime.

Yeah

same principle even with classroom bullies.  You cannot give in.  You just fight to the end.   Their end usually.
