Turkey's Baykar Makina, the producer of Bayraktar drones, has presented a prototype of a new combat UAV.

The company published respective photos on its Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.

The National Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle System (MIUS) has been named Kizilelma ("red apple"), said Baykar technology leader Selcuk Bayraktar.

MIUS will be jet-powered and is expected to be capable of taking off from and landing on Turkey's flagship-to-be amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu.

Baykar in November signed a contract with Ivchenko-Progress, one of the leading Ukrainian companies for the procurement of engines for the MIUS. Ivchenko-Progress was projected to supply the AI-322F Turbofan engine for the jet under the agreement.

The aircraft is set to feature a high operational altitude and takeoff weight of 5,500 kilograms. It is envisaged to carry 1.5 tonnes of useful payload. It is projected to be capable of flying for five hours and reaching speeds of up to 800 kph.

Not that Russia have much strength left to invade another country after Ukraine.

SAF can fly it as land based.  Use for day 1 strike. Semi kamikaze too if need be. 🤔

Their idea of aggression is so warped they argue the defenders arming themselves with new weapons as detrimental to peace to talk, while the aggressor, who has no right to be in another sovereign country,  keep on shelling and attacking as ok and contributing to peace talk. Same reason they feel whataboutism argument is a valid argument. No sense of context.

Defending your home is whatever weapon you have is defenders right.
