Doesn't sound right too... but then again the Autopilot function isn't ready for really hands off driving as evidenced by many accidents reported overseas plus a class action suit in the works... anyway I don't understand why need autonomous driving function... isn't part of the joy of driving up to Malaysia being the driver giving input at the wheel?

There is no autopilot function yet.

The most autonomous is Adaptive Cruise Control with lane keep assist.

The joy of driving B-road.  Not NSHW.

On NSHW, I use cruise control.

For ppl who use NSHW regularly, ACC with lane keep assist is bliss.

I thought the article raised was referring a Tesla which has Autopilot?

I haven't had an opportunity to use adaptive cruise control but I would think it's really helpful but not fully autonomous driving...

It was about BMW with ACC + Lane Keep Assist.

I drove Ford Ranger with partial ACC.  It takes a lot of stress out of driver.
