Next time u can try the fish soup at the center column, opp chendol. They used to be seah im, corner stall.

Saw the fish soup and the chendol. Almost wanted to buy the chendol to eat there but too close to dinner time.

I don't often eat Fish soup, unless I'm having something else along with it. The China square beef stall was closed.

Very tasty and light herbal aroma. Wolfberry adds a touch of sweetness to a slight bitter herbal taste. Very nice n balanced.

Wife's birthday. Some newish cafe that was featured on youtube by aiken and Daniel food diary. Cava at sembawang Hills. Not facing main road, was bit puzzled by location. U have to be looking for it to find it.

The food is not bad. Though the roasted vegetables (other than tomato) don't taste nice.

And this burger can't really be eaten as burger due to the nacho cheese on top of the bun. Have to use knife and eat. Meat is wagyu belly.

Overall food I give 7-7.5

Legend Scissors Cut Curry Rice 传奇剪刀剪咖喱饭

Seems like they sell for dinner too? 1030 to evening.

I'm no expert on curry peng though. I prefer their braised meat Iirc.

Not bad, the pork chop is crispy and tender, braised meat is soft and nice.

No queue when i was there at around 11.30am, wanted to pack the pork chop after i finished and saw about 5 to 6 people queuing, so maybe next time.

The same coffee shop, corner stall Bak-ku-teh looks interesting also, maybe next time i will try it .

“NEWBrew” is no ordinary beer. The new Singapore blond ale is made with recycled sewage.

The alcoholic beverage is a collaboration between the country’s national water agency, PUB, and local craft brewery Brewerkz. First unveiled at a water conference in 2018, NEWBrew went on sale in supermarkets and at Brewerkz outlets in April.

Nanbantei. Far east plaza. Long time no eat. Wagyu tongue was something new but it's pricey and texture no different from the usual one, imo. Can skip the tempura items.

old world BKT is not bad. Though the soup is bit bland IMO.
But they have fried mee sua and fried porridge which is good.

in 2022, they moved from the other coffeeshop few blocks away.

small menu though.

And i had 2 episodes of diarrhoea which i think came from the roasted vegetables on my kids' salmon dish (cos it was the only thing that tasted bit off, though i thought it was just frozen vegetables which are nuah inside).

They have quite a lot of indoor seating. So that's good and parking is convenient with public carpark nearby.

..... That sounds pretty bad review. I think I will pass. Lucky I couldn't make it there for lunch today.

That area has quite a few new eateries but I never go recently. I used to eat at the steamboat buffet there before it got replaced by the mookata.

lol. I think it maybe a one-off thing.

I may go back though the small menu means I'm not that keen. And other than pasta, kinda hard to share for my kids.

Not much food options in the north. Lol.

My fix for Phoenix leg at AMK ave 4 HC.

While most chicken leg served at restaurant dim sum are sweet, this type is my preferred savory taste.

It has a distinct 当归 smell to it.

Spoiler
