We were talking about soy sauce previously. 

CNA insider feature on nanyang sauce. 9 month long Traditional fermented soy sauce using koji. Wonder if KWH does the same. 

Well just googled KCT. They seem to ferment up to 6 months.

And the modernised Commando dessert, no joke. Bandung drink with red Ruby, logan and shave ice. Quite nice (not as sweet as I have expected).

During my time, it was just Bandung drink. 

Don't understand why during my NSF BMT day also drink a lot of bandung drink even from the camp vendoring machine.  Even it is so sweet.

When you were at that age, you would not find drink/food which is so sweet de. Only when the older you get, then you would find this food too sweet, that food too heavy taste etc. 😂 When i was during my NSF, i also drink lots of bandung and sugar cane, that was my comfy food back then.

Featured by gold thread which usually looks at China related stuff. But this one is about the Chinese diaspora. Hainanese laksa at Hong Lim. I never noticed this stall before. 

Recently been reading about stall closures about quite a few younger generation hawkers who only taking in <1-2k per month despite their best efforts. Like this uncle, 14-15 hour days are the norm.

I saw this stall, but from the signboard it was a turn off since i know the orig sungei rd laksa is actually at jln besar.

Now that I know they use dried oyster and dried scallop for the stock, may try it.

After getting to know a few friends getting diabetes at a relatively young age (below 40), have been trying to cut down my carbo intake by having no rice or noddle for some meals.
