After seeing @Etnt post, went to try Lam's. They closing on 21st April 2022. Need to reserve table cos place was small and got time limit of 1hr makan time. They need to turnover the table.

Order Twin Tower and fish head curry. The twin tower chup was normal temperature, not piping hot. Looks like pre-cooked and just pour the chup when customers ordered. $10. The fish head curry was good thou and piping hot. But lack a bit of spicy kick. Not bad thou. $28.

Frankly, the almonds are very fresh, crunchy and no rancid taste of old nuts. Wasabi is lighter here, as on, it's not so fiery up one's nostrils. 

But agree that Tom's is better as more generous with the wasabi powder coat.

Around Sin Ming and decided to try them. The salted veg duck soup is super nice and peppery. I must say the Teochew braised duck from this stall is equally good compared to my usual one at Alexandra.

Their chilli cannot make it based on my taste buds.

Their duck is decent but nothing special. Can eat but not worth a special visit.
