So it, this ia the best solution LTA can come up with to solve the "ponding" situation when we pay billions in COE/ERP/Road tax?

The best is to be careful, slow down, or dont drive when raining.😁😁

Saw a report on ST that there was a 40% drop in accidents with controlled right turn.. wonder what took LTA so long and fatal accidents to occur before moving their arse on this.

Also 40% increase in waiting time for everyone just because a few idiots cannot judge/are reckless when turning.

Recovery truck driver: No lah bro.. my job is so secured becoz of so many idiots on road everyday. I say within half hour got work to do liao.

LTA (roads) waiting for Npark (got grass patch on center divider which belong to Npark) then waiting for NEA (drainage problem causing ponding) then waiting for TP to divert traffic and advise 90.5 radio listeners over ponding)

And all waiting for Met Department when rain stopping.

And the accident to confirm road slippery.

See, team work. :XD:

Why is the law designed to enrich the insurers and reward dishonest drivers?

13jul2022 1344hrs Jalan Bukit Ho Swee and Lower Delta Road. #GBE6960P nissan nv200

camcar rear ended 3 weeks laters after reporting to insurance was told that cannot claim. is our insurance system broken? or simply forcing all motorist to claim 3 days mc for every accident?

quoted

Rear ended by van, tried to claim 3rd party but van driver doesn't report the accident to insurance company. So claim can't go thru and we can't do anything.

Because the system is flawed. Law says must report accident within 24 hours. Failure to do so will kenna something something.... that something something are like empty promises that will never happen so nobody is bothered.

LTA can choose to close 1 lane and cause some pain to the commuters, or they can wait for someone to fall over.. i guess they chose the latter..

In actual facts, they can't do anything..... :we-all-gonna-die:

They themselves rode m/cycles and if park m/cycles on 1st lane blocking the ponding, blur motorist can't actually see them until last minute. [:(]

Best is waiting for TP Highway patrol with blinkers switch on. Motorist sure can see one...

SG motorist are so fine tuned to the "Red & Blue" blinking lights of Highway patrol and ambulance. [cool]

Other colour (like normal red brakes light & orange signal lights) can't see and wack from behind... :secret-laugh:

2 days ago one MERC ran red on right turn when I was going straight (could be shity accident), there is red light camera but I didn't saw any flash. Not sure if red light capture people turning or just activate for going straight people. CB was talking to passenger while making his sweet turn (cut across 3 lanes while running red light).

Then they will ask you to open civil suit.

Based on @Nutty experience, MAS wrote to the party at fault insurer.

Party at fault insurer LL has to open file and ask party at fault to report to them.

It is GIA rule to report or claims rejected.  Not MAS.
