ScottyWittyKow 1st Gear May 11, 2022 Share May 11, 2022 Hi All This afternoon just saw a Coca-Cola truck travelling with the shutter open, with pallets of goods inside, along at Queensway Shopping Centre. This is ridiculously dangerous and pose hazards to other road users, if any of the loads fall off when turning. Ct3833 Supersonic May 11, 2022 Share May 11, 2022 (edited) The design of the truck beds these days are quite good, both sides are leaning inwards so that as long as the trcuk is travelling within certain reasonable speed limit, it is not easy for the cartons to fall out of the truck . Guess you have not seen how these giant concrete blocks used for dunno what construction load testing are being transported locally.... this type.. btw, the drink pallets are wrapped together, with such weight, shall any topple, doubt the shutter can stop anything, and if I am not wrong the truck bed is built such that the load is slightly tilted towards the centre. 3 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Moreover, when I saw such condition was when the truck making a right turn but one of its left shutter was left open with pallet of drinks stacked up.
