when all the premium brand manufactuers start  looking at the amount of profit their distributors are making per unit in SGP, they will realise the strong business sense to take over the business themselves. That kind of humongous profit per unit is nowhere found in the world.

this will this down the car price but drive up the COE price. in the end nett to nett the buying will be the same

Most of the time the gross profit is even higher than the omv of the car itself

The profit margins of some ADs can buy a Honda Civic equivalent car in Malaysia. :/

Waiting for Hyundai Ionic 5 made in Jurong. No need to buy battery (and no ARF)! Should be very very interesting.

Yeah especially for premium brands where their margins are much higher than bread and butter brands.

I think the car maker will make as much as the dealer when they take over. LPPL. 

Ownself make that profit rather than let dealer profit. Heck care car buyers.

Hopefully will get to see full features in the car and not those selective ones so that car dealers can profit.
