Lead in petrol is a lubricant. Too bad it adversely affect the health of every person. Sulfur too is also a lub but for the fuel pump. it is also hazardous to health.

There is this lead substitute however but it didnt catch on. I think some of you have used it before cos there is a sponsor here who sells them. Smth nitro, I believe that is somewhat lead substitute, actually a lot of the fuel additives are just that, lead substitute. But somehow I think it is not as good as lead in terms of lubrication and it is not popular.

I don't bring my herd to the pump...i turn off the engine when they need to load or unload stuff at the boot...I ownself suay is better...😁

have witnessed some in landed warm up the engine with the pipes aim straight at the main door...😅
