Think some of us are too spoilt by Klopp. Win draw or lose, YNWA! But it's true, Klopp has been around for 7 years and he has to take the blame especially the problem lies with aging players. He knew from his time at Dortmund that he should sign young players or promote them from the youth team. IMO Thiago was not a bad acquisition.

We drew with Brighton who was 4th on the table and lost narrowly to the league leaders Arsenal. We are not title contenders but we must aim for top 4.

As for last night, we are like a 40plus uncle team playing against at late 20s early 30s Sunday league team.

We were torn apart by Gunners but we maintained our shape quite well. It would be foolish to ask these old players to go toe to toe against the younger gunners.

What divided us from the table topper was the rather soft penalty and not sure why the Gabriel  handball was not a penalty. He was facing the ball and his arm wasn't close to the body.

Our uncle team needs to score first and then play monkey with opponent. We used to employ a high press high tempo style but slowly transit to a more possession style (unfortunately reminds me to Rodgers' Swansea).

Well, we knew this will happen when the club decided to spend money on renewing the whole team's contract in 2019 or 2020 instead of injecting new blood (Probably a good decision during Covid). We let go players like Minamino whom we think are not good enough and unfortunately unable to get rid of Klopp endorsed good players who are not available most of the time. The youngster are not coming through. Only Elliot, sought after by many big clubs at 16, got through to the first team. Jones is at best a ball carrier for rotation. Let's hope we get to see the likes of Musialowski, Clark and other exciting youngster in the first team soon.

Liverpool have 3rd oldest average starting XI in Premier League.

The profile of the squad has also been under the microscope with nine senior players aged 30 and over, seven of whom sit inside the top 12 for the most minutes played by a Red this season.

And as detailed by Sky Sports, Liverpool are currently ranked 18th in the league for the average age of their starting XIs, with 27 years and 342 days.

It is only 303 days more than the average during the title-winning season but at that point, Liverpool ranked 12th in the division after three seasons of sitting inside the top five.

Bad News : Luis Diaz expected to be ruled  out until after the World Cup by the knee injury he suffered against Arsenal!

It’s turning into a crisis.

Joel Matip and Trent Alexander-Arnold ruled out for two weeks

Hopefully it is not a crisis but a blessing in disguise

Dun mind Liverpool loses another 5 games n Klopp gets the booting... The way Liverpool plays, "justify or worthy" a mid table team.
