Supercharged

lucky win. Pool was playing within its own half for the most of the 2nd half.

Simply can't string decent passes in the 2nd half.

Turbocharged

A much fought away win (our first in PL this season?) with a brace from Salah.

Did well to race to a 2 goal lead.

But held on to the end, with luck as we were at times all over the place.

Still, it’s 3 points in the bag after the 2 pervious reversals.

1st away win of the season.  Pool has to play with such consistency week in week out and the race to the top 4 will be on.

Pool's play and tactics are settling down better with improved consistency and an increasing stable starting line up.  Salah is finding form at the right time. Nunez looks a handful every game he is playing although he can score more for sure. Konate looks like the best partner to VVD.  So things are looking brighter and hopefully, Pool can climb up the table in the later parts of the season.

The starting line-up looks to be the strongest Pool has at the moment, and good thing the team could put spurs under pressure immediately and raced to a 2-goal lead in the first half. But it was also partly Spurs was sleeping and when they did start to get their act together, Pool was fast tiring already, so had to endure lots of pressure towards the end to hold on to victory.

When Diaz and Jota are back, Diaz should replace Firmino, with Nunez at the centre. But Firmino does have his use, as he can draw opponents away and can find teammates in good positions. Just a pity he's slowing down significantly and prob can't play at the same level as 3-4 seasons ago like that anymore...

Thiago is good, but also not fast, and this can be a problem cos Fab and Elliot are also not fast, so the midfield is not able to accord a good shield for the back 4. If Pool is in possession and can control it, then all good. But when under attack where opponents switch the play quickly, the midfield can be overrun... and opponents can have many through passes... in such situations, really attack is the best form of defence.

anyway, the 2 victories were against teams that don't park bus... Klopp still needs to figure out a way past the bus parkers. Hope he does that quickly...

I don't hold grudges with FSG. 12 years isn't a short tenure. Is time to part company fsg as proven in premier League one need to spend to win. A look at Newcastle, city, United, villa, Chelsea, asernal.

We can't compete with them financially.

FSG contribution to Liverpool is data analysis

or Moneyball.

This is a big contribution.

Brighton is so successful because of data analysis.
