Jamesc Hypersonic November 7, 2022 Share November 7, 2022 When owners saw we might not get fourth place they know no Champions League money next year. When they saw we got Madrid they thought maybe no more Champions League money this year. Better faster sell. 1

Fooblack Supercharged November 8, 2022 Share November 8, 2022 sounds like the FSG is cashing out... these type of rumours plus their media statement is probably meant to prepare the public. the FSG are very private in their dealings yet they have come out to say they are not ruling out any additional shareholders. there is speculation that the buyer is already in place and the sales process is probably very deep In a way, this move by FSG is not unexpected. They have carried the club as much as possible based on their more limited resources. With the likes of City and Newcastle's ownership structure, there is risks that Pool wont be able to compete with them in the next 5-10 years as they have limitless resources. Pool may be forced to fight for the remaining 1-2 top 4 places to maintain the UCL status with financial benefits that comes along with it. The recent valuation of Chelsea of > 4B must have also made the market pricing too good for FSG to ignore. interesting to see what happens from here.. think this feels like beginning of the end for the FSG era.

Invest million and take back billion. 👍fsg indeed savvy when come to investment. Local pool fans might not be so welcoming if future investors isn't one similar to city, Newcastle or psg.
Fooblack Supercharged November 8, 2022 Share November 8, 2022 in a way their intitial 300M investment now looks like the best buy in a decade. But guess it was quite a risky gamble then as Pool was on the verge of total financial collapse in 2010. It took them at least 7-10 years to rebuild the Pool branding and competitiveness. So, they have made quite a few good decisions and the best was to appoint Klopp.

Atrecord Supersonic November 8, 2022 Share November 8, 2022 now must go and find who are the richest men in the world, or the richest swf, then hope that can get them interested in Pool, and will be willing to invest heavily into the club to allow it to compete head-on with the City, Newcastle, PSG, etc... didn't know that it's so easy to make so much $$ in soccer. How is Peter Lim's Valencia doing? He must be disappointed that he was unsuccessful in buying Pool, or else he would be so much richer now... then again, had he succeeded, dunno whether Pool would have come through those dark days or not...

Picnic06-Biante15 Supersonic November 8, 2022 Share November 8, 2022 If Temasek Holding buy over Liverpool Football Association of Singapore (FAS) can sent our under 14 & 16 to Pool Academy for training. Than we can have slim hope of dreaming about WC2030. 2
