Super lucky to beat Derby via penalties. Otherwise would have been epic embarrassment.

This is the problem when there is no Minamino for Carabao and FA cups.

Don't be too harsh on our kids. 😁 Boy against men and we have over 70plus percent procession. Gomas captain and played cd. Ok result and good outing for kids. 

Firmino must be angered for being left out of world cup squad. 😁 The way he took his penalty.

Pool has not won a League Cup game at Anfield inside 90 mins since 2016.

It's always extra time and pens.

Pool has also won 20 out of 27 pens.

The only one we lost that mattered is the 2016 League Cup final loss to Man City.

A hard fought win vs Derby in the Carabao cup tie.

As expected, JK made wholesale changes to the side. There were a bunch of youngsters and some fringe players. 

Thought the kids have a good account of themselves. There were some bright sparks.


Kelleher with 3 big saves in the penalty shootout to win it.

Next up, vs the Saints (who just appointed a new manager) before the season stops for the WC.

our youth team did well to draw with a EFL league 1 team over 90min. They dominated the game and was just lacking in quality to score.  So that would have pleased Klopp. 

the club sale rumors are still not going away.  So, watch this space for further developments... hopefully the sale can happen right before the jan window so that Klopp can get reinforcements to maintain the push for UCL title and top 4 place this season.

no eye to see, can't even beat Derby on normal time.  worse still lucky on penalty.  what is going on with the team.  these players are just not up to standard

It always goes to pens and Kellergher always makes the saves and Elliott always scores the winner.

its not easy for kids to play against grown up men... with a starting midfield of Bacetic, Clark and Ox.. I thought they did well to have more possession...

He is a Scot. Similar to Robertson that give you those rough up style. Defending yes better than TAA but offensive still a long way to match TAA contribution. TAA a cat in our penalty box. A leopard in the opponent half really to pounce Vibe.

We have been drawn away to Manchester City in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

Match to be played on 19 Dec, if not mistaken, that’s the first game after WC.

City has more players away for the world cup than us. 😁
