Cafu on Alexander-Arnold Criticism: “They Said the Same to Me and Roberto Carlos”

The Brazil legend doesn’t agree with Gareth Southgate’s refusal to use Trent Alexander-Arnold in his England side.

“I don’t understand why,” Cafu said of England manager Gareth Southgate’s continued snubbing of Alexander-Arnold. “He’s the full package. He has quality, dribbling skills, and pace. But it’s always the same thing. They say you don’t defend and sit you.

Worse than that.

We might lose Klopp to

Newcastle. He likes the idea of so much money buy any player he wants like Pep.

At Dortmund Klopp lost all his best players to Pep because Bayern so rich Pep could buy them all.

And Klopp never forgot this.

further advantage to City... both Laporte and Rodri are on the plane back to UK now that Spain is kicked out of the WC.

Pool's players still in the WC are Hendo, TAA, Alisson, Fabinho, Konate and VVD.  Abit worried for Hendro as he seems to be getting a lot of game time and playing full 90min...

At the training camp at Dubai, better fitness news for both Diaz and Keita (about time) as both started the training sessions.

Turbocharged

It is reported that Luis Díaz is flying back to the UK from the club’s Dubai training camp after suffering a setback in his recovery from a knee injury.

It is understood that the Colombian international complained of discomfort and he will now undergo further assessments to determine the extent of the blow. His participation in Liverpool’s festive programme is now in doubt.

Really bad luck with injuries. Fingers crossed it’s nothing serious

Not good news.

It is reported that Luis Díaz will undergo surgery tomorrow to recover from the lateral collateral ligament injury in the knee. Liverpool expects the Colombian to play again in March.
