England are out of the World Cup after a 2-1 defeat to France. Konate is now the only Liverpool player left in the competition.

Pool lost this friendly game 3-1. For 60 min, the score was  1- 1 when most of Pool's senior players were playing. that is not a comfortable position in terms of sharpness versus an ordinary Lyon side. Salah looks off the pace and missed a penalty.

With Diaz out until March, Jota out until January, I am not sure if the current 3 fit forwards can play week in week out until any of these 2 forwards return from injury.  we are looking at very lean months ahead of us. We are fighting for a top 4 spot only.

Ignorant people say Firmino does not score enough

Maybe they don't know his record.

:D

Firmino has bagged 107 goals and 78 assists during 348 matches for the Reds.

If his name is Neymar or Messi

people will go gaga!

And Brazil wonder why they never progress in the WC!

:D

think we shouldn't be too sour grapes... actually given a choice, I will rather keep all our players at home rather participate in the WC.

TAA and Fabinho hardly had any game time. We should be grateful that the coaches didnt see the true value of them and didnt risk their fitness or injuries. Their loss is our gain.

Now it is time to refocus back to the charge toward top 4.  think Klopp is pretty back to square 1 in managing the shape of the team as we are basically down to 3 forwards with not much options on the right wide forward spot.  Nunez is likely to play there but it sacrifices his penetration thru the center.  Bobby cant' play week in week out so we are expecting the likes of Cavarlho and Elliott to replensish the forward lines..  this is s big ask given they are so young.  the club should look for potential signings in the jan window or else we will really face a crisis if any of the 3 remaining forwards miss games...
