Vividly remember a few of my friends and I spent our time reading his series when preparing for our 'O' level Chinese, and for me, I did not even touch my Chinese textbook / notes and still got an A1, so 倪匡 can be considered my part time Chinese teacher.

Good link! Me too I never had to purposely study for Chinese exams and got A2. Still remember 无名发 was my first 卫斯理 book. His sci fi ideas were ahead of his times and some still outlandish by today's standard.
