Many people cannot do cost accounting - especially accountants.

The accountants that do financial accounting.

Ask them to do cost accounting and they will cry.

My friend was a HR manager of a disk drive factory.

And they would retrench hundreds of factory workers during the down turn

And the poor workers that got retrench would scratch his car!

Poor guy has to park his car far away from the factory.

Anyway its not his fault. Its the cost accountant.

The cost accountant would calculate its not profitable and close the whole line down and a thousand people would lose their jobs just like that.

But no one scratched the cost accountant's car!

So its not the gov that is pushing up COE.

Its not used car dealers that pushing up used car prices.

Is the people that just sold their old car and bought a new car that is pushing up COE and used car prices.

If you really need to F someone.

If people are saying its the used car dealers that are pushing used car prices up or its the gov that is pushing up COE then it shows how little they know.

Not me, not me. I agree with jamesc that its new car buyers that are pushing up used car prices and COE and its not used car dealers.

We kenna hit by recession. US puts up interest rates high high, stock markets collapses, China property companies go bankrupt, Russia escalates the war in Ukraine etc etc

Then its possible used car prices come down.

I rather buy cars with lower COEs and sell at a lower prices

than buy cars with super high COEs and hope I can sell 

to a bigger sucker.

We used car dealers do not want to be without a car when the music stops.

We don't want to be stuck with high COE cars when COE comes down.

Its like money changers don't want to be stuck with a lot of RM

when RM suddenly comes down.

If used cars are so profitable there would be no condo developers or people buying and selling shares

they would all be selling used cars!

I see those prices that direct sellers are also selling their used car sky high regardless of how low they bought their cars. 

Just like property prices also... damn those buggers that bought their properties 10-20 years ago and now mark so much to sell to me!😁

When people in SG sell anything sure want high high price

who cares if its a newly wed or young couple with a child on the way.

When people in SG want to buy something sure try to squeeze the seller.

My fren kenna sold his flat to a doctor who brought his old mother along and ask for a big discount claiming he has to take care of his old sick mother.

My fren very kind slash 20k from his price.

Went to collect his mail one month later and no sign of the old mother.

Maybe he hired an actress to play his old sick mother!

They don't lose any sleep about high COE prices.
