Saudi Arabia will build two mirror-encased skyscrapers across 170km of desert, forming the heart of the Red Sea megacity NEOM. The kingdom plans for 100 million residents by 2040.

Saudi Arabia's de facto ruler Prince Mohammed describes the ambitious project as a car-free utopia that would become the planet's most liveable city "by far". https://cna.asia/3z9tZfp

Turbocharged

This is the video

At some level, it makes sense.

But I fear this project has been allowed to snowball because no one dared to say no to the Prince :D

I know a friend of a friend who is paid crazy money to be on the feasibility study team.
