Long life short life its all good.

Tall trees and short tree its all good.

Uptight standing members of society and criminals its all good.

Death disease and old age its all good.

Being sick being healthy its all good.

:D

If you can only be happy if you are healthy and cannot be happy when you are sick

then that's not true happiness because there is no one that cannot be sick!

If you cannot be happy getting old then you will be very unhappy when get old.

As far as I know there is no one that can stop getting old.

If you are not happy that you are going to die then you cannot be happy because as far as I know no one can never die.

So happiness is impossible and happiness is fleeting.

When the cake is finished the happiness is gone until the next cake.

But peace now that's different to happiness.

And its easier to find peace accepting your sickness rather than being happy about being sick!

Its easier to find peace being old or being at peace that you accept you will die.

I am not sure sure how easy is it to be happy about dying.

:D

Unless its your MIL's death of course.

Material happiness is often short lived and one would pursue for more once that feeling is gone. It's just an endless and viscous cycle. When i see someone keeps buying stuffs, i will think that the person is just empty in the heart.

I've seen people in my workplace fighting for power and staying in power. Spend most of their time playing politics and drafting emails, sleep late at night as scared their angmo boss calls them at night. Some can thrive under such circumstances but most are just miserable inside.

The pressure to pursue happiness.

Why should we pressure people?

:D

And happiness comes from the contribution to society?

What does that mean?

The man that worked hard to make the handphone to make it more convenient for people is that a contribution to society?

Is there any negatives to handphone?

Couple go out to a romantic dinner and husband playing with handphone and wife playing with hers?

Kids rather play with their handphones than listen to their parents.

People calling you up at all hours to tell you something unimportant than can wait till morning!

Whatsapp chat is that a contribution to society? Chats that people don't want to be in and now can secretly opt out.

So many advances in science and technology did that bring more peace into people's lives?

And as for the CoE, condo, rolex

What if people are only happy pursuing the CoE, condo, rolex

and cannot be happy unless they have the CoE, condo, rolex

:D

And what if people can only be happy telling us how much money they have or which new rolex they just bought?

Do they not have a right to be happy telling us how much money they have or showing off their rolex?

Who are we to deny them their type of happiness?

Different people define happiness differently la. To those people who are fighting for power, playing politics and sleeping late night, maybe it is happiness to them? 😂

I am no sure getting cancer gives people instant wisdom.

:D

My fren went to Batam and caught a nasty rash down there.

After catching his sensually transmitted disease he is a lot wiser now!

Sex and cake is happiness!

A nice slice of cake after doing the deed.

Sounds good to me.

We have wise people here.

And I learn from these people.

Others will say Patek Philippe also can.

All kidding aside, no one gets out of life alive. A man can choose to live his retirement collecting paper and aluminum cans around the neighborhood, hoarding it at home, eating simply, yet have a million dollars in liquid assets. He dies in his home, to be discovered by neighbors due to the stench.

At face value, bystanders may say, poor thing, no money, how come no family?

But perhaps from another angle, he lived the exact life he wanted, and died among the things he held dearest to him.
