yishun woodlands this type then is cheap

But the definition from HDB for PLH, my understanding for Commonwealth area should not under PLH le?!  Esp the Ulu Pandan and Ghim Moh sites even much further up than Commonwealth and Queenstown. So like that next time Clementi also can be PLH, esp the flats there now for old and new all price so ex. 😅

I find this really effed up. Marry just to get HDB flat, even if it's not the right partner.

No wonder divorce rate keep going up. Our policies are an utter mess.

Isn't it simple enough, during inflation when food on the table is more important than that Condo, of course you go for the cheaper of the 2. It is about affordability but wait, even if cannot afford HDB, where else to stay? Bus stops?

How are BTO flats priced, and what are the land and building costs? HDB gives the breakdown
https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/housing/how-are-bto-flats-priced-and-what-are-their-land-and-building-costs-hdb-gives-the-breakdown

After elimination of land cost ($3.167bn), HDB loss is $1.2bn before grant.

Rather than $4.367bn

Care to provide something layman can understand? Example, how much to build a HDB 4 room flat, excluding all the costs paid from right to left or left to right. Opportunity costs, potential cost, etc. Jurong to changi average will do. Match this against a private EC developer also actual construction cost. Let's see why got such strong bidding for EC.
