have you guys tried chatgpt? Its scary good, and this is just like v3.5. 

v5 is expected next year and I honestly think by then no need journalists and even most lawyers (the sort do nda, first draft etc) 

the v5 will also have more personalised human feel, customised to the user. Teachers have no chance.

tell your kids pick up a trade skill as backup.
