Singapore Reckless Drivers XIII

It is very sad that parents need the law and enforcement to keep own kid/kiddos safe, especially in the car that they are driving.

Complacency, laziness and pure idiots who should not have kid/kids. For that matter, should not have any passengers onboard at all times.

Orbigoot when kid/kids/loved ones get smashed thru windscreens and die cos not belted up. It's what they deserve for taking such risks to avoid a crying child, a difficult moment etc.

Please belt up.

Your life, your kid/kids/loved ones. Dun expect the law to follow you 24/7 on matters of self safety. Got seat belts, use them. What u need next? An upsized brain?

Stay safe all

Cheers

Baby likely not secured properly in baby seat.  51 days old baby skull is very soft.

"The Straits Times (ST) reported that the man's son was seated on the right rear passenger seat beside his wife, who was seated on the left and holding on to their baby."

Hence, can be quite sure baby is not secured to a baby seat.

Seems none of them was secured with seat belt (except driver).
Son was also injured, which implies he was also not secured (unless other passengers fall at him and injured him).

I hope drivers can take a harsh lesson from this incident and belt up (regardless who was at mistake, life was lost and family have to live with their decision and pain).

he drive bmw he can see the future la .. he is looking 10 seconds ahead of time .. haha

but on a more serious note, not a justifiable excuse but the drivers view may be blocked by the giant white signboards on the left just before the traffic lights, and he didnt see the other set ahead of him ..

Well, the good thing is that if the there was accident, there are a lot of workshops to choose from. All within walking distance.

Blame STA & Viacom... [sly]

Their "Direction Signboard" block the traffic lights. :secret-laugh:

Should blame LTA for putting the directional signage right infront of the traffic lights.

It's not first time.

It's not the road.

It's not the sign.

It's the nut behind the wheel.

:D

Noted  :a-m1212:

Next servicing, I will ask mechanic to check the "nut" behind the wheel for safety sake. :we-all-gonna-die:

The nut behind the steering wheel or the nut in front of the steering wheel? 😁

We have had enough of it. It is high time that Oxford dictionary adds BMW as an antonym to Signals and Signal sticks 😝
