One employee, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said he was not shocked by the news as "business has not been great".

That’s an understatement. 😅

Less than 10 registered in 2022.

lets hope komoco does a better job, this is such an iconic brand it deserves to sell more ..

sad, was hoping to try out giulia as my next car if coe drops

hope komoco can do a better job

Doesn't make any difference who is the AD who distributes the cars.

If you want an Alfa get one.

It's not like the other manufacturer ADs do some exceptional work. The cars pretty much sell themselves.

Not what the reviews say.

BONG BONG BONG. The dashboard had lit up like a Christmas tree. Power was gone. The whole car started shuddering. We were in a 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia with just barely 1,709 miles on the odometer, and it was already breaking down.

Have you ever wanted the authentic Alfa Romeo experience? Because we were getting it now.

Only recently purchased by Consumer Reports’ undercover team, the new Alfa Romeo Giulia has hardly been able to undergo Consumer Reports’ testing.

“It’s a sexy car,” Shenhar says in introducing the new Alfa. “It has a really storied brand name. As compelling as it might look,” Shenhar says, introducing the new Alfa,”I don’t know if I’m ready to send anyone to buy this car.”

“It’s been back to the dealer about three times since we bought it.”

“We have had a lot of problems,” Linkov explains. “I haven’t had the opportunity to get into it because it’s been at the dealer so often.”

However, in other areas it’s as though Alfa Romeo is a stuck record, its needle unable to play past a reputation for poor quality.

The first Giulia we were loaned had to be wheeled off like an A&E patient after the infotainment system failed. Another we drove had an engine warning light on the dashboard screaming for attention and cruise control that refused to be switched on. A third car had a frozen infotainment system, which could only be brought back to life by stopping the car and switching the ignition off and on again — and at times some air vents stopped blowing.

One colleague suffered from jammed parking sensors, so he drove around with the Giulia shrieking: “Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!”

Our test car definitely had a few foibles, including a sunroof that called it quits and a Bluetooth system that had trouble maintaining a consistent connection with a paired phone—and we had the car for only a week.

Modern Alfa build quality is a joke and they are treating new buyers as guinea pigs.

I had a 159, not even that old and I can't even order brand new engine mounts from the factory. So badly put together even the factory gave up on their cars. Also first car I had drive halfway the roof light can drop off.

The only time Alfas are great is when they are working properly which sadly doesn't last.

Oh yes, to add on, soooo many mechanical bits on the 159 macham made of glass... All are "expected to break/spoil/require replacement" within XXX km...

Selespeed GB also playing roulette everytime at traffic light or putting into reverse. ai mai ai mai... dashboard can show gear "1" but step gas car not moving.

Check engine light also happily every few days will appear... such a PITA

for some cars, can floor the accelerator to verify the 0 - 100 claim.

for some cars, better to just print out the 0 - 100 claim and paste on windscreen.

I also had Altah 75 TS before. Clutch cylinder leaked and ultimately kena sandwiched in an accident and the fuel tank leaked! Lucky didn't burst into flame and I am still here.

seldom see alfa otr lei....

spare parts will be hard to find, servicing will be carrot based...

there is a popular Alfa workshop at Sin Ming. they seem to be able to service even the older models.
