Madhatter should watch The Crown S1E09. One of the story line is about Wiston Churchill who refused to admit his time as PM is over. Getting old, frail, stroke, some decision resulted in disaster. Many in his party are reminding him to make way for his deputy to take over. After some philosiphical conversation over a few sessions with the artist who wascomiisioned to draw his protrait, that he finally realised he has passed his prime and should had handed over to his deputy 9 years ago. At least he still retired with dignity. Too late for Madhatter, no dignity there anymore.
