Maserati Quattroporte battery is also located in a cool place behind the rear trunk, like BMW.

I installed an Amaron DIN100 there for a customer, and after 2 years, it still measured 90% health. It could easily go for another 2 years.

@Extremme  I'm using Varta EFB M42 for my Honda Shuttle Hybrid.  It has been with me for close to 2 years already and is still going strong.  Recently, I installed a USB charging port in my car that also displays the voltage of the battery.  So I directly monitor it every few days.
