HIs is hybrid. He said no alternator.

I see, cuz last time my car also have humming sound, then is alternator. So I speak from my experience.

Was overseas for whole Dec and only managed to get it checked this week by Dr Heng of SKM.

Turns out it's the front left wheel bearing and replaced it.

They hoisted up the car, turn off traction control and accelerate to 80kmh and used a stethoscope to listen to the sounds.

2 front wheel bearing replaced ( right by my mech and left by SKM) and aligned by Kenny left me $460 poorer but I finally have a peace of mind.

Kenny alignment still one of the best.
