With the msian MP salary, but looking at the luxury goods they can afford, and sometimes carelessly display, don't gel.

SG MP, appear to be conscious about not being too flashy with luxury stuff. Which is a wise thing to do.

Remember some debacle in the past about someone bringing family to attend cooking course in france  and the news triggered the public. But that wasn't MP, it was some senior civil servant?

Nevertheless it is hard to believe Dr M gang would conjure up such a bizarre unbelievable scheme, stained mattress and all, to fix Anwar. It would be simpler to allege corruption or mishandling of funds wouldn't it? Who in the right mind would choose such an elaborate wrongdoing unless there was some "weakness" that can be exploited?

And through the years later, notice that they always try to entrap Anwar with handsome young men placed in his staff. It's just very consistent.

This is more of a political move and hitting hard to smear the opponent..... Using corruption.... Think all men on the street in Malaysia will think Dr M deserve a longer term in jail. Using sodomy charge, the impact is much greater...... Not just jail but impact on the reputation and being a Muslim country, it is an unacceptable behaviour the will ingrain in many MY voters.

same reason why his opponents have previously attacked him by saying he's "not malay enough".

to the majority of the electorate, some issues are more pertinent than others.

Doesn't take a genius to spot a homosexual lah. No matter how private you keep it.
Especially when the people out to fix u can check ISP web browsing records etc.

If someone is observing u all the time, it's very easy to see one. Just like how a heterosexual man takes 2nd/3rd glances at attractive females.
