Thanks bros,

I'm home for a rest, will go in again later when the results are out and are good..

The adrenaline has worn off, so the body aches are everywhere.. I basically carried her for four hours, tried to comfort and maybe get some sleep... now the wife has sent a shot and the little 'un is peaceful... fever is down...

I ate instant noodles and had two bottles of mineral water yesterday...

I think a year ago, I did the same when I sent the missus in to NUH for delivery too, haha... let's not make this an annual trip

First result back, no Covid, I suspected that too, I did a couple of ART tests at home ...

I suspect that RSV thing...

Oh, FYI, hospital bills aren't eligible for points / card promotions...

But if you come in through the ED, you are subsidised for ICU / HD... don't kaypoh and upgrade..

You can still do that when the baby leaves ICU... but inside the treatment is the same.
And they provide a meal for the mum too...

Dear @therock your daughter will be as tough as you, have faith in her.

My days old daughter went into baby ICU on the day she was supposed to be discharged with my wife, vomiting non stop and for some other issues which I cannot recall, and yes, it is extremely heart pain and worrying for us new parents to see her with tubings on her hands and feet, but she recovered well and was discharged 3 - 4 days later. She is now 21 (turning 22 in another 3 months plus). Your girl will be the same. [:)]

Take care of your wife and most importantly, yourself. Look forward to seeing your girl's birthday celebration photos soon. 加油 加油 加油!!

Today is day 5? Start from Friday.

She's under close monitoring, getting the best care she can get.

Just wait it out. Kids are vulnerable but also engine just out from factory, full horsepower available. When they recover also very fast one.

One day I'll start a thread on the 99 bends road..

I go through that more than a thousand times a year, yep, no kidding..

Like tonight, I've driven four times there already...

No tofu, but I fetch my wife back to the hospital, where she'll be spending the night yet again, so precious cargo..

I hope to bring baby back on the same road, the curves make the baby sleep..

Best wishes for a speedy full return to normalcy soon.

Stay strong and positive for your loved ones (including your koi fish), as positive mindset yields positive energy...they'll feel the chi that rubs off you...

Go to tiko ranger, makan, loot/photo of the day thread etc to kill time instead of indulging in burgers...otherwise, you may need to stay active at the exercise and lose weight thread...😁
