Hi all! Back with another craving and this time it's goreng pisang! Please recommend me some nice stalls.

Ate the one at Changi Village yesterday and while it's good, it's not the best out there. Used to like the one at Bedok Central Hawker Centre but seems like it's no longer there. I like my goreng pisang crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I'm not a fan of the goreng pisangs selling at Malay stalls. It's usually less sweet, less juicy, less crispy.

The ones at Malay stalls.

seldom eat nowadays as its just a carb bomb. But usually i just eat from the delisnack franchise at Chong pang market.

But don't think I've eaten any world class goreng pisang for a long while.
- last time behind somerset MRT station got the best goreng pisang I've ever eaten, but think its gone for 20 years liao lol
- clementi HC the hawker association boss the goreng pisang is good from my growing up memories.

If you fancy the thai style fried banana, can go for either golden banana at Golden Mile or Jalan Besar hawker basement a Malay store selling curry puff.

Dough Culture which has a number of outlets such as Causeway Point, Hillion Mall, Changi City Point etc sell reasonably good goreng pisang.  The bonus is that the youtiao, butterfly and tau suan are good too.
