the price is officilaly out.  close to 0.25 million

Mr Kang said the first 100 cars will be high-powered twin-motor long-range models priced at $147,800 before certificate of entitlement (COE). Two lesser variants will follow, including a single-motor standard-range starting from around $100,000 before COE. The first two will fall under Category B COE (at around $102,000 now) while the third will be Category A ($80,000 currently).

Mr Kang indicated that the third model will be the mass seller. “We aim to become the No 1 EV brand in Singapore,” he said, referring to the sales position currently held by Tesla.

for the EVS plate, is it only allowed to be used on the SG made IONIQ5?

some unpopular numbers may be left out after 1st round, like 47 or 54.. so these will be up for bidding in round 2 for those unsuccessful buyers is it?

if the buyer sells the car after a year, can the car plate be retained for the next car or must it be sold with the IONIQ5?

it'll be interesting to see how this pans out.

@Mkl22 @Theoldjaffa The 1st 100 units will be top trim dual motor with newer 77kWh battery.  If you take part in the bidding of the EVS number plate and is successful, you can use the number plate to register one of this top trim units.  Price is $147888 without COE.  I understand the actual EVS car will be on display at the motor show.  If you do not take part in the bidding but decides to buy 1 of the 1st 100 units, a normal number will be allocated during registration or you can retain your own number as per normal new car registration.  If a EVS number did not receive a bid, the number will be returned to LTA and will not be allocated.  So if you want an EVS number, you will need to take part in the bidding.
