Pre-COVID I used to get my shirts tailored at Este Bartin.  Since then, I have not worn a long sleeve shirt for the past 3 years.  Now it just casual shirts from Uniqlo, t-shirts and polo Tees. Mostly bought by wife from Zara, H&M, Esprit etc.  wife says if she does not buy me clothes, I will continue to wear the same old t shirts for a decade….

My sleeping t shirts used for donkey years. One have so many holes over the back. one the collar is absolutely obliterated. But I still haven't thrown away.

My work dri fit polo tee will break down over the attachment to the collar. After 1.5-2 years have wear and tear then I switch to wearing at home. After all got hole who cares. Lol.

I thought for investment seminars dress like Ah pek in t-shirt shorts and carry a plastic bag full of cash is more respectable?
prince and shieks also full cash one.

Institutional investors go in tie one. I go in smart casuals. Paper bags of cash no longer acceptable says MAS anti-laundering. Many years ago, Orchard Rd banks saw eastern european women walk in with a bag of cash to send remittance home. Days of the social escorts and oil men at Orchard Towers long over.

Now that many of us are no more in our 20s/30s and too old for the Uniqlo look, where do you find your clothes?(before graduating to the silky polo shirts of the coffeeshop uncles)

I am a uniqlo convert as I age. Buying very little brand name shirts / tees and more and more uniqlo. Super comfortable with some of the materials they are using.

Just couldn't switch out of my classic CK for Airism boxers.

Past few years I old unker work in startup.. just jeans, t-shirt/polo and lanyard. Also gave away many work clothes to my previous helper.. some farmer in 3rd world country probably wearing goldlion shirt in paddy field..

Now need to restock.

Also this is the age where we're likely to buy the clothes we'll die wearing

Was a fanboy of Raoul shirts..used to frequent their boutique at the corner of raffles city many many years back..but brand suddenly disappeared..?

Only grouse for that brand was that almost all their shirts require cufflinks..and becos im not a high flying banker or politician..the cufflinks seemed an overkill..

I wear briefs from taobao. Cheap and comfortable. Haha called 健将。

Dislike having a thick waistband around.

Think less and less people wear briefs nowadays. Used to be norm, now like harder to find.

One thing that I don't like from uniqlo is their berms are always baggy. And no cargo berms please...

I used to buy from esprit discount outlet. But they left sg. So if any retailer has a good selection at reasonable price, please share.

Went to US last year so hooted beekok brands like Ralf Lauren for cny. But still find their cutting not suitable for asian.

If local, still Uniqlo for me. I just like their fit and cutting more. Even I go jp I still shop at their Uniqlo.
