Should bring back Mazda 929 & badge it as Mazda 9,make it Long Wheel Base, with in line 6 Engine,RWD,selling it at Lexus ES250 Price, then all the German Giants will worried.

It is a bit idiotic to have all these teasers and cocktease.

From the early reveal pics, it simply will look like a stretched version of the already released Euro market-only CX-60, with very similar interior design.

I doubt it will make it here for sale. Any non-big 3 conti car with 6-cyl and above 2.5L will not sell.

Let alone when the price is going to be close to $300k with the high COE

Agreed, this is somemore above 3.0 Litres,the Road Tax is a killer, that is why Kia Stinger 3.3 & Hyundai Genesis sold so little here.

Likely here will sell CX-80 and not CX-90, just like how they are selling CX-8 and not CX-9 anymore. Very interested to see the actual CX-80 and how it gives the premium a run for their money.

Although my current ride is a MPV, I like SUVs. But I don't suppose the 3rd row (if any) for such large SUV can fit adults comfortably right?

Go check out the current CX-8, its 3rd row can fit adults less than 1.7m comfortably (that's what Mazda claims). Space wise is the best in its class among 3 rows SUV.

problem with Mazda is want to be “premium” aka Atas but he is not Atas

for sushi i will only buy 2 brands

1st choice = Toyota … drive A to B and forget about simi performance simi premium … VFM daily beater

2nd choice = Honda … want to maintain a bit younger look plus perceived fun to drive … like the Civic 1.5T
