dry version is mixed with sweet and dark sauce, too heavy tasting. Soup version is better

Altho quality is reasonably maintained, the prices have consistently moved upwards ahead of inflation mainly due to rentals and labour cost.

Sunday's makan within Chinatown Point 🤭😅

Brunch

LiXin Fishball. Tasted normal for me. Dun like the too firm texture and fishy taste of fishballs though. Soup is very bland, slightly better than plain hot water. Oops. 😂

Toast Box Teh di lou siew dai ($2.70). Fortunately, taste is aromatic and rich. I do like the quality of tea used and the consistency compared to Ya Kun and Kiliney. 

KFC Lunch. No comments. 😅

 

Teabreak 

Rocky Road (siew dai) at Coffee Bean. Once a blue moon type of drink for me. 

Victor's Kitchen was crowded so settled for this snack. This really nice. Was surprised that it tasted yummy. 

Dinner is a disappointment compared to their Suntec's outlet. 

16 grains rice is undercooked and some portions are dry/hard. Feedbacked and response is like some some car workshops, "it's like that". 😅

As if I dun know what cooked grain rice taste like. All it needs is add some water and steam for another 10mins. Guess too lazy or can't be bothered. 

Tempura is acceptable but the taste of the chicken breast is off, took a bite and left it alone, together with the bitten off piece. QC got issue. 

Will be our first and last visit to this outlet.
