Visiting either Qingdao or Yun nan

Hi Guys , planning to make a short trip to China Qingdao or Yunnan like 5 days 4 night with family . As this is my first trip to China , can you help to advise on the itinery and also any recommendation of private tours  , thanks in advance

Private free and easy tour?

I advice u to source for tour guide first before going ,ask them to secure the vehicle for u also.

Make sure u know what model and how many can carry. And where that vehicle can travel. Etc

For example 1 trip I go alot of ppl. The biggest mpv also cannot carry. We hire a mini bus instead.  It turn out,  the driver stick to the speed limit which is very slow. And we spend alot of time wasted on the road. ( that time bad experience,  we didn't plan. The driver wanted more money).

Then ask every detail if u all plan to travel city to city. Such as toll fee is it included? Etc etc. Fuel fee? Ask everything.

1 thing I experience at 1 location. We check hotel online. All the hotel show fully book.

But in actual case it's not

Yunan is a big province, you need to know exactly which city you want to visit. 

Most food in Yunan are more exotic and may not be like by every Singaporean.

I believe direct flight only to Kunmin. Which is a city. I will prefer to visit like Dali or Lijiang.

While Shangri La is very beautiful but for your 5day4night is too short. The attitude will be problem for some.

Qingdao is for the seafood and beer. Maybe you can PM Carbon82 for advice.

i can't advise you on any itinerary, but after watching 去有风的地方 i want to visit 大理 in 云南 🙂

Yunan is huge, for 5 days 4 nights u might want to narrow down to Kunming and nearby. If with old ppl and young kids then u need to go slow. 

Yunnan can go Stone forest, East Gate, Longmen, Cui Lake, etc.  

Qingdao, u can go Wu si guang chang, zhan qiao pier, beer steet, Lao Shan, etc.

Join any tour group or private tour in SG, they will take care of the above.

Was just in China at a more ulu part. Forgot to take a pic of a cubicle with 2 squatting bowls side by side in one cubicle. 
One can say, I shat shit and chit chat! 😂
