Thanks bro, that one was more ex than the ID 4, and I'm a little too old to explore gremlins and electronic issues... but I'm happy to keep it in mind, especially when COEs turn for the better hopefully next year...

The main issue isn't so much EVs, although there are some reservations on it. That will be an entire thread and pages of reasons, and it may bring out those who may not like people who don't like EVs, so let's just keep it simple 

- UI not ideal, not tech, but the new type of ipad style interface isn't something I'm keen on. Hence I'm also waiting for the CHR plus to arrive and decide..

- physical buttons / handles lacking

- survival of the fittest still yet to be settled

- longer term stuff, that I will share with you my thoughts in private with friends and bros so pm me so I don't offend anyone 

So despite the huge gap in price, eg the Jaeco J6 is 169k, and the Forester for example is 221k, I'm not convinced to go for the EVs right now.

SG mart report says its not headed here, there are PI routes of course, but the other bit of news is that the RAV4 will be launched Jan 2026 at the SG motor show... that might make it clearer for me... sometimes times just and direct you to certain places and cars...
