Actually what do you keep in your glove box?

I just checked, inside my glove box, there are only invoices related to the car and nothing else. I probably open my glove box twice every 4-5 months, once when I need to keep the servicing invoice, and once when I change my ac filter. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

Servicing records and log book.

Memory seats are nice and duo wirless charging.. wow

EV no need "Engine Start Power On" button liao lah, aiyoh.

Key with you, sit on driver's seat, shift to D and go.

When parked, press P, lock up and go.

Hahaha. EV with a push button is for ceremonial purposes one lah. Make you free like you are driving an air plane.

i dunno...

it might be better if those buttons werent part of the screen. Pwerhaps below it as some cars have.

example, if anyone wanted to change the entertainment system itself,  easier.🤔

Yah.

I like to have physical button.  But not in the screen or part of the screen.

Let's hope it's just a prototype and changes can happen

- a row of buttons BELOW the screen instead of on it

- glove box

- more rear storage and room under the seats for the feet

- movable rear bench, like the Urban Cruiser

- more tether points in the boot and organisers, maybe even a flush boot surface

- more front storage with covers if there is no glove, even underseat storage

- memory seats for both front seats

- a little more rear legroom by angling the seats to a more upright position

- bigger door pockets

- better seat back pockets with organisers and even a fold down tray

- smart seats ala Honda?

You need a box, not a glove box. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

When I was at Toyota showroom last year with friend looking at some of their hybrid model and comparing with EV.

Their sales come with all the reasons not to buy EV and why EV is bad.

Now let's see what language they speak when Toyota start selling EV.

Electric C-HR+ crossover from Toyota

Toyota unveiled the electric C-HR+ on March 12. The “plus” probably refers to the dimensions. At 4,520mm long, the crossover is more than one size bigger than the first-generation car that measured 4,360mm.

The electric version of the not-so-compact crossover is slated to be launched in Europe in the second half of 2025. The C-HR+ follows the second-generation C-HR that was unveiled in 2023 as a petrol hybrid.

The electric car is related to the C-HR, which, in some countries, comes with a 1.8- or 2-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain. The C-HR+ will be available in single- and dual-motor versions, and have two battery sizes, giving the car between 455km and 600km of operating range.

Although the Toyota C-HR has been a relatively common sight on Singapore’s roads since it was launched here in 2018, the model has not been available for sale since 2020.

When asked, the spokeswoman for Borneo Motors, Toyota’s authorised distributor, said there is no information on the second-generation C-HR and C-HR+ at this time.

The manager is like.. why didn't I get the memo on it's launch? Now I gotta change tack and praise EV...  let's hope it's coming to our shores, so we can also enjoy the 10 yr warranty on the battery

Looking at the similarities between it's larger cousin and this one, I suspect it was a case of management telling the engineers to use most of the chassis, EV tech and batteries, come up with a smaller and lighter cabin, so the range is more respectable, tweak the chassis and prevent the wheels from falling off and make sure it's up to the higher previous build quality and get it out.

The delay in the Land Cruiser Mini might be related to more decisions on what to base it on, what engines and even chassis to use... given how the landscape has changed, at least Toyota is trying to adapt and fight back.

The C-HR+ can compete with the BYD Atto 3, the top volume seller as well as other more mid tier options from the Chinese, if and only if the price is right...  it can also take on the VW ID 4 and other Euro EVs if done properly, but price is the key here I feel...

This new CHR+ looks like the smallest Lexus SUV currently right?

That one should be based on the Yaris Cross ?
