Who takes what seat, later will merry go around, ie cabinet reshuffles. HCM should be in MOM.... he cares a lot for SG workers.

But I read somewhere that only DPM and PM can become SM, so unless LW make Shan DPM first, he also cannot become SM.

My take is LW will put together a half term line up first, with Shan as another DPM, and re-arrange portfolios mid term, promoting some new senior minister of states to new Ministers.  

Then by next GE, they can sell the idea of  their half way 5 yrs plan, already half way, need strong mandate to continue. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

Cleaner as in no more plates and bowls on the table, but the table still dirty as no one wipe the table often now.

They will say 3 or 4 (GKY? Sham? V? GF?) stepping down so please don't vote out the remaining ones.

Good and bad. It was used as excuse to trim cleaner manpower without concern for contingency. I have seen where when the sole cleaner on duty was MC, the accumulated trays and food wastes piled up at collection area. Really filthy.

The profile of K. Shanmugam is very similar to S. Jayakumar, so will not be surprise if LW put him as his deputy.

Minister for Law will be between Indranee and ET, since both are lawyer by train and have served in Law ministry in one way or another.

There is really not much choice for Defence minister role, and I am guessing CCS will be assigned to the role, especially now that NCM, OKY, CHT is under the limelight for the wrong reason. The alternative might be TSL, there is iron in him.

When he insisted again and again that sky high COE prices is primarily driven by increased demand from local individual buyers, rather than by PHV operators and leasing companies, contrary to the high market share of these businesses, it will be another 5 years of "monitoring" and the broken system will not be fixed.

Cos LW say (or did he?) he needs more female representation. Jo Teo, Grace Fu, Indranee can tahan 1 more term and likely will retire after 5 years when they’re in their mid 60s.

So peepur like SXL, LYL, GSH and (kaaar, pwui!) Sim Ann will step up. Maybe Rahayu eventually.

and SXL is popular on the ground.

I think TPL potential also. Marine Parade currently no heavyweight.

Tray return today has come some way and is matured and sustainable. Remember there was an initial phase where we had to pay $1 extra to the hawker for the tray and then return the tray at some machines to retrieve our deposit? Was it Amy Khor idea? I rank that idea the same standard as the current erp2.0 IU unit.

 

That one was a private initiative lah. Wasn't implemented or enforced everywhere.

TSL? He has too much iron to the point of being arrogant.  

Don't think he is well liked. A friend used to work for him when he was still in private sector. He said no comment. 😂
