now defence looks real shaky, and thin... Konate looks like trying to make fans wish him good bye... but the only other option is Gomez... whose fitness is suspect.

if team doing well, then good.

if playing shit, then need luck.

these wobbles and woes are fully expected as part of the major transition of players and playing style this year.   Slot has been unsuccessful in trying to get the balance of the team correct and everyone except the GK, have to adapt and i would say none of the outfield 10 players can be said to be playing comfortably in this new system. 

In every major transition, these bug-fixing periods are unavoidable. Provided that Slot + Hughes + Edwards are totally in agreement and convinced to the eventual plan and tactical setup... then we have to ride this out for longer term benefits. 

Given their track record and creditability, i think we can afford them alot more trouble-shooting space and time.  Only time will tell if all the investments made can pay the rewards.

Jitters can be felt among the fans but more time required to smoothen things out. Guess the high outlay acquisition has risen the expectation....but it's  not gonna be a walk in the park.

Performance-wise, Liverpool have been shambolic since the start of the season. The current position is attributable to their good luck, if not, the heroics of good goalkeeping that saves the team its blushes..

Since Wirtz unable to make decent passes in tight spaces...why not try sit back to absorb attack and wait for counter with open space for him to spray fast break to speedy forwards...pingpong, gakpo, etikite, sabosai...

feel maybe it is time to slow down the assimilation of Wirtz... maybe put him in the bench and let him come on for 20-30 min each game.  the balance is off when he starts.  Slot is also more keen to stick Szo at RB so that he gets playing time...  Bradley should start more to give the team more balance.

But with this type of performance, maybe RM would not want him anymore. Just hope RM dont change their target and ka jiao the Guehi deal.
