Since Gavin Lee got them there, he should be given the job.

Different level leh. India, HK not same rung, or even same ladder as Japan, Saudi. Forest rep is on the line, pick inexperienced coach, he might be remembered for big trashings 😓

Top coach will bring his own staff and system.

Can't really compare lah. Different era.

Qualifying for the tournament is a massive achievement that even the past eras never achieved, so we should give them credit when it's due.

Without the ability to play in competitive league, this is the best we can.

These guys played in competitive league

Don't think this minister said sorry or apologize for his remarks. Lucky he flew off bf this was made public. If not, probably immigration would prevent him from flying out. As kee chiu would say, jin sia suey.

News was supposed to be of lions historic feat but now include for the wrong reasons

Agreed. Sorry seems to be hardest word these days..   He merely mentioned "taking back" what he said regarding giving "less" respect to the HK fans and players.

My humble take is not to begrude the tactics of the game by opposition; to say that players played like idiot is somewhat okay by me since this boils down to individual players, team strategy and management. But to apply that holistically to fans turning out in droves to support their team is crossing that red line.

Those were the days. No online tiket booking, one of the kakis had to volunteer to line up early morning to Q for tikets. On match day had to walk all the way from Kallang MRT thru the old Kallang airport just to reach the stadium. Plenty of friendly trash talk between the msians & lions supporters. Good vibes

Totally agree on this.

How many FW coach we pay top money already. And the more we pay . The lower our rank drop and the worst our performance.

At least give this guy a chance.

He wore his Army boot for parliamentary session.

His pants are tucked inside the boot.
