Nasty? i thought it'd be quite fun having, but after hearing it for a week, we may find it hard to bear ............

hope there's a version which give imitation 'back fire' sound....... bah, blah, bah, blah...... another for wild tyre screeching sounds, another one for bumper banging sounds (together with sound of windscreen shuttering and metal crashing) so the car in front at the red light will be thoroughly scared n confused [thumbsup] ....... perhaps the ultimate version will give imitation flame from the exhaust tip????? i will buy one if someone invents it [bounce2][bounce1]

we need some creative inventors [:p]

How about a Darth Vader-like breathing sound to subtly tell those drivers who suddenly, without warning, stopped indiscriminately by the roads to "move on, buster"....? [mad]

LOL, or to shoot back at the speedtrap cops? [laugh][laugh]

Do you think it's legal to have a digital message board in the rear windscreen to flash messages like:

"thank you" (to the driver behind for allow me to move into his lane etc), or

"please/torlong" (for asking for a chance to change lane), or

"sorry/pieseh" (for not behaving on the road), or

"don't stay so close, i hardly know you", or

"@#%^#" (for showing frustration/anger), or

" [thumbsup] "/"finger sign" (to tell him 'up his ar....') [bounce1][bounce2][bounce1] ?

It's all about appropriate, and timely, communication with fellow travellers on the road man! [laugh]

Interestingly, that crossed my mind this afternoon while posting replies to this thread, too, tho' the messages I had in mind were things like "Don't tailgate, you (fill in with appropriate word or phrase)", "High-beam won't help compensate for blindness or poor driving skills", "When others are changing lanes, it's more polite not to accelerate", etc...... [laugh]

more direct message will be: "Back off from my a..., you bas...."

talking about highbeam-tailgater, at one point i almost installed a pair of powderful fog lights behind the rear windscreen to flash at these tailgaters......... or a powderful remote control spray gun below my bumper to shoot black paint backward......... do it at night and the guy won't know the extra paint on his front bumper n number plate until the next morning, hehehhee [bounce2][bounce1]

Cheers

Acutally, the Police Security Branch do have these installed on their white volvos. Next time try tailgating the Volvo which is escorting some "Ministar" or "Plesident" and you can read the blue LED sign that says "Police....Please Back Off!" Followed by "Thank you" later..

to make ah beks who drive their taxis/vans too close behind understand the message at the back of the TP Volvo, maybe the message should go something like this: " seow eh, siam ah!" [bounce2]

cheers
