Why only these 3 choices?

I have tried ST115 and really hated its wet weather performance.

Still got Goodyear F1GSD3, Michelin Pilot Sports, Dunlop SP9000/LM702, Bridgestone G3/S03, Yoko ES100/AVS Sport...

Tried ST115 and satisfied with its grip performance.

Dry road no need to say, wet e-braking no skid, go through water pool at 100km/h car still stable [thumbsup] ..... maybe mine is 215/40R17 so more surface contact.

Life span up to 45,000km till almost botak but still able to maintain its grip except very noisy and hard. Cost should be less than $200.

ya lah very misleading title man...i was thinking of durex studded [sly] ...ahem

back to the subject...i'm using ST115 ... grip seems fine, though the noise level is a little on the noisy side (as compared to previous bridgestone ones, forgot which model though) mine 185/60/14 got it for $105 for a pair of "rubber" [;)]

opps, sorry forget to mentioned $$$ constraint. $ should not be more than $150.

personally i kind of like Kumho 712 but i heard so much abt ST115 & the report on g-force KDW2.

sorry to trouble all the GURUs here.

I'm using ST115. These tires stick. They wear out fast for heavier cars. Mine is a sub-1t Starlet. The ESi Civics can use these as well. Apparently, other Starlet users who have used the ES100 thinks that the ST115 is the better tire.

I can get 14" ones at $60-70 a piece.
