Ek4civic Neutral Newbie July 20, 2004 Share July 20, 2004 Hi all, Just got a used RAV4J and realised the rear tyres are uneven hence causing "humming" noise when traveling. The original tyre is Bridgestone Dueler 215/70-R16. Any tyre brand/model to recommend if I were to stick to 215/70-R16? Also, if I were to upgrade to 17" rims, any advice for me? Shall I get 215/65-R17, 225/65-R17 or 235/60-R17? Thanks for reading my post. Have a pleasant day! ↡ Advertisement

Jeffrey 1st Gear October 6, 2007 Share October 6, 2007 Unless you take your RAV4 off-road, otherwise you will be better off to change to road tyres that are more comfortable, quiet and provide better grip.
Newkid 2nd Gear October 6, 2007 Share October 6, 2007 agree, the falken is a road tyre. did not go offroad a single day when i was driving rav4 ↡ Advertisement
