Is wheel alignment necessary after replacing the front lower arm bush and removal and fixing back the steering column?

how does it drive ? if normal then don't need. But usually people do after changing suspension components

If steering rack/tie rods are touched, probably will need to.

I just did front control arms only, still tracks straight. Will save the money.

I know that the AD couldn’t be trusted as I was advised there is no need to do wheel alignment. Any place to recommend?

Any reasons you think AD's advice cannot trusted ?

The encounters so far have not been very good. I bought my car brand new from the AD and I have been to the service centre twice for repairs/replacement. The car is less than one year old. I have not included the first repair as the front door can’t open from the inside after I collected the car on day one.

Knocking sound when doing low speed u turn and squeeling sound on the steering wheel. Even though the defects surfaced within the same period, had to do it on two separate occasions as they don't have stock to replace the steering column. On the day of replacing the steering column, the service centre said no need to replace but just need to oil some rubber parts.  [:|]

thanks for sharing and understand your frustrations.

i do have neighbour had few issues after collected his new EU car and had sent back to WS 6 time within period of 12 months, no doubt no charges BUT he said to the AG, i buy your car is to Drive it within the warannty period and not to sending in for you to Fix the problems.

reasonable issue is acceptable , but he needs to keep sending  back for them to daignose the problems.

I understand Nothing to Perfect.
