Getting sedan version instead of hatch. 1.6 trend 2010 model. The steering feel is great just engine too underpowered for the heavy body:/

I find rear drum brakes okay leh... at least your rear rims are much cleaner  [laugh]

unlike the brake dust from the front disc brakes that stick to the rims within couple of days of washing...

Hello! New to Focus. What are reason to choose Ford Focus over mondeo actually?

Focus is  smaller than Mondeo.. Different classes actually.

If you want smaller compact car then take the focus, want more space then take the Mondeo.

Collected the focus yesterday liao.

Getting used to driving it around..

Its slow off the line.. but feels more comfortable than the old mazda 3.

Inside very basic, surprised no keyless entry and auto folding mirrors >_>

A very reliable work horse but is a drinker due to the gearbox and engine.

Try install a sprint booster it will be more fun to drive.

Went to AL tyres this afternoon to change to new set of 4 tyres.

Michelin Pilot sport 4 ( Thailand) for size 205/55/16

Cost about 540 dollars for 4 tyres.

what gearbox is it using ? If its the old 4 spd auto, google up on the gear linkage issue. Small matter, but better to keep spares and cable ties on hand  [laugh]

oh, and the cabin filter is an ultimate BITCH to change.

A very nice car to drive  [drivingcar]

If you want a SB, i can give you the link to seller

Been driving it for a few days. Feels rock solid. [thumbsup]

Gearbox should be 4 speed auto.

The trip computer looks too optmistic at 640km for full tank. [sweatdrop]

Think 500km-550kmi more like it for full tank

Been driving for a few days and computer now shows 390km plus.

Whats the average fuel consumption focus owners getting?

9.5 km to 10 km/l ?

Er whats SB??
