Anyone here stil driving a Mk2 Focus?

 

Hi in the process of getting MK 2 Focus soon...

 

One thing that bugs me is the rear brakes are drums instead of disc brakes!!

 

DIdnt realize that until stare at the rear tyres.

Congrats man, actualy i just recently changed to a MK3 FL Focus Hatch. Which Focus you getting? Hatch? My MK2 was a 3door, it was a realy fun drive i must say, which led me to get another Focus, lol!

Getting sedan version instead of hatch. 1.6 trend 2010 model. The steering feel is great just engine too underpowered for the heavy body:/

I find rear drum brakes okay leh... at least your rear rims are much cleaner  [laugh] 

unlike the brake dust from the front disc brakes that stick to the rims within couple of days of washing...

haha thats nice to know!

 

one more week before collection, dealer going to send car to workshop this week to change timing belt and for servicing. Engine mounting was changed last week and lower fog lamp changed as well.

Hello! New to Focus. What are reason to choose Ford Focus over mondeo actually?

 

Focus is  smaller than Mondeo.. Different classes actually.

 

If you want smaller compact car then take the focus, want more space then take the Mondeo.

Collected the focus yesterday liao.

 

Getting used to driving it around..

 

Its slow off the line.. but feels more comfortable than the old mazda 3.

 

Inside very basic, surprised no keyless entry and auto folding mirrors >_>
