FC for 1.6A is about 10-11, depending on driving style. Overall it is a very good car, I believe the current model is meant for euro market so u can be assure of the built quality.

Two colleagues have it. FC according to then is 'shocking' [jawdrop] Expect to get less than 10 km/ltr for combined cycle. Possibly worse if u are mostly city driving. Acceleration is best described as sufficient not to hold up traffic. One got so sick of it he binned it after just one year and got an Altis.

Altis about same price as Liana....go for the Toyota...much better engine and performance. FC always brings a smile to your face [:)]

I have driven both the Altis and Liana and seriously the Altis is where I would put my $70,000....Liana's pace or rather the lack of it can become tiresomes after some time.

errr....in my impression, car with good FC is only Honda or Toyota. maybe u can check out toyota IST,parallel import.

but frankly speaking....i've tried Liana before. [thumbsup][nod]

esp the Headroom, good for those with long body or long face(like me). [laugh]

FC wise i cant comment much.

For under $70,000 try the Mitsubishi Colt.

If you can spare a couple of Ks more, try the Ford Focus.

But I think your choices would be better if u look into the sedan category.

Wow thanx for all the suggestions....

1 last favour... if now i opt for a sedan, wat are my kind of choices and my considerations :

1) FC (i wana a auto gear)

2) Sporty look ideally wif body kits

3) reliable car

4) Ideally below 70K if really need to compromise +5K (shld be able to)

Sorry cos I really save up for a long tme and is a no U-turn route for me once i commit

to me, there's no rite or wrong answer when it comes to buying new cars. diff ppl got diff taste or preference or priority. juz like looking for gf, some go for looks, some go for brains, some go for background, some go for characters, some go for ahem....figure. [sly]

cant say who's right or who's wrong. most important is you're buying something you like, which i personally think its very very important. others can give you their views/comments...but ultimately, u decide for youself. [thumbsup]
